Fear Not!

 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears (Psalms 34:4)

           Have you ever been so full of fear that you cannot think straight? Have you made poor choices only to find yourself in a worse situation? David did. Being persecuted and sought after like an animal, King Saul wanted to kill David. So, he went to the land of Gath to hide himself, which belonged to the Philistines. The Philistines were enemies of Israel and when they saw Israel's champion fleeing to their territory, they wanted to kill him. Talk about jumping from the pan to the fire--David situation was unique. 
         King Achish, who lived at Gath saw him and was persuaded by his officers to kill him. Scriptures says that David was afraid but he was one to think quick on his feet. He pretended to be crazy.(I Samuel 21:11-13) He was not concerned about what people would think of him. His life was on the line. His actions helped save his life and get a quick deliverance from the hands of King Achish. Psalms 34 was written after David's deliverance and he credited God with his rescue. (PS 34:4)
           Perhaps you made a bad decision in a business deal. Maybe you left your spouse thinking that it was better on the other side. Many who may be reading this may be out of God's will and gotten yourself into enemy territory. I got good news---God is merciful. He can get you out of any self-inflicted problem and get you the deliverance you need. Just like David was delivered out of the fear of King Achish, so he can deliver you. 
               Take some time to do some self examination in your life. If you are out of God's will, come back. God is merciful. Get yourself out of enemy territory and get back on track with God. He is a God of a second chance. God bless.

                     Wisdom is the key.

Are you confused by life in general? Are problems mounting up so that you can't think straight? Well, today I have GOOD NEWS! GOD has not forgotten you. Many times, we think that all our problems can be solved by money or good health. We start to write God's promises on our notebooks and quote them all day long. There is nothing wrong with that, but sometimes, that, alone is not the answer! We tend to put God in a box with a 10 steps program or fancy methods that can leave us frustrated or discouraged. What worked for a brother/sister will not necessarily work for you!
                     I am, not, against how to develop faith in simple steps or any methods of  any sort. They have their place! Truth be told, they have helped me understand faith and bring success to my life, but brethren, there is a place in which God gets us into a deeper revelation. When we are faced with our giants, you better not be caught using another man's armor. Use what God gives you.  Consider David when he faced Goliath! King Saul wanted to lend him his armor, but it did not fit him.
                  Instead, God showed David how to win this very important battle. He led him to fight with just a slingshot. Brethren, its time to grow up, seek God and fight our own battles of faith  by what God reveals to you!  Many times, we fight our battles with another person's revelation. Don't use another man's armor to fight your own battles of faith. Seek God and let him reveal to you the weapons necessary for you to win. Let's consider the following-

" Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." (Prov 4:7)

I remember hearing the story of a preacher who was a million dollars in debt in his ministry. He sought God and did not get an answer. As time passed, God started to direct him to sow to certain ministries who were poor and struggling. Afterwards, God rewarded him, reaping a harvest of a million dollars and he got out of debt. Then, God spoke to him. He told him that had he given him the money earlier without discipline, he would have dug a bigger hole and gotten into more debt. The thought for the day-Wisdom. Wisdom is key!

Prayer- Dear Lord, thank you for your word. Thank you for teaching me about wisdom. Father God, give me wisdom in whatever challenges I face in life. Open my ears and direct my steps. Show me areas in my own life in which I lack discipline and proper judgement. Help me to, not, rely on my own strength but on you. Thank you, Lord, for giving me wisdom today. Thank you, Lord, for taking me to the path for victory in my life. In Jesus name. AMEN!

Confronting your enemies!

Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. ( I Sam 17:36)

Whether you know it or not, you have a Lion and a Bear waiting for you. In a battle, it is important to identify and name your opponent. The Bible calls Jesus, the Lion of Judah and as children of God, we are Lion cubs, growing and getting groomed for battle. When I think of a Lion, it reminds me of the cowardly lion of the Wizard of Oz.
The poor sap had a problem with fear but at the end, a medal was given to the Lion by the Wizard of Oz to instill in him courage. We have more than that--The Bible says we are more than a conqueror. We have no reason to fear. So, what is the Lion in our lives? Satan! He comes in as a roaring lion, but guess what? He has been defeated and has no teeth. (Ps 3:7)
When we take our place in Christ, there is a roar. It reminds me of the Three Stooges when two of them masqueraded as a fake bull. When the real bull came in view, they left their costume and headed for the hills. The same with us as we take our place in Christ. All fear and unbelief is gone with our roar!
What is the Bear?

                                   IDENTIFYING THE BEAR! 

              Let's identify the Bear. The interesting part of I Sam 17:36 is the word slew. Slew means to kill. A wild beast like the Lion or Bear that is wounded can be dangerous. That is why many of you have seen your situation go from bad to worse. You have to slay those wild beasts.
In fact, as you read I Samuel 17:34-36, you find that David was no wimp. He was a tough guy who grabbed those beasts by the beard and beat them to death. We have to do the same with our spiritual enemies. Show them no mercy. 
Let's take a look at the bear. The bear represents finances. Two things I have to state my case. First, in the stock market, there is what is known as the Bear Market. The Bear Market is when it is tough to make a profit and the stocks are unsteady. Have you ever heard of the saying---That is a bear of a problem?
The reason why many have problems in the financial realm is that it is a Bear that is facing them. We need to be like David---Confront the problem and nip it at the bud. The first place we need to start is in our minds. We need to see ourselves victorious. We need to renew our minds. 
Our debts and finances are talking to us day and nights. Many are staying awake thinking how are we going to pay this bill! We need to talk back to our debts and financial oppression. 
In fact, we should gather our bills together on our table and converse with them on a daily basis. 
Learn to laugh at your problems. You are in covenant with God and if you are tithing and giving offerings, your enemies are God's enemies. In fact, he's laughing at them right now in heaven. (PS 2) Have a good laugh. Its good for you and see yourself in victory.

                              Muchas veces, sufrimos frustraciones en nuestras vidas. Oramos y oramos sin resultados. El carro se nos dana, la casa necesita reparacion o nos quedamos sin trabajo. Las enfermedades vienen. Todas estos son pruebras que se presentan en nuestras vidas. Gigantes que nos hablan dia y noche!

       Israel tenia un problema. El gigante Goliat estaba atormentando a las tribus de Israel dia y noche, hasta que vino David y lo oyo. Se perturbo este joven y le llamo incircumciso! Porque? Porque David confiaba en su pacto con Dios y sabia que podia derrotar ese gigante. 

            Cuando se presento ante el rey Saul, el le presto su armadura pero no le sirvio. David se fue a enfrentar al gigante sin armadura. No use la armadura ajena! Busque el rostro de Dios para tener una revelacion de victoria en tu vida. Sabemos lo que paso con David y el Gigante! David lo derroto y tuvo un testimonio y victoria en su vida! 

           Si no estas recibiendo resultados en la oracion, pide sabiduria ante todo y Dios te dirijira en el camino correcto. El Pastor Kenneth Copeland tenia una deuda de un millon de dolares en su ministerio. El oraba sin resultados. El Senor le dirijio a ayudar a la gente pobre.  Mientras el hacia eso, el Senor le mostro que tenia que ejercer disciplina y juicio propio en sus cuentas. Despues, al tanto, recibio el millon que necesitaba.

                    El Senor, despues le dijo, que no podia bendicirlo sin ser disciplinado, por eso no habia recibido la respuesta a sus oraciones. Si el Senor le habiera bendicido con un millon sin ser disciplinado, se hubiera metido en mas deudas. Cuando aprendio su leccion, el Senor le bendijo. Hermanos y Hermanas, busquemos la sabiduria de Dios cuando nuestros oraciones no estan teniendo resultados. Sabiduria ante todo!

Oracion-" Amantisimo Padre, venga a ti para pedirte sabiduria. Ayudame con cualquier situacion que se presente en mi vida. Dirije mis pasos. Ayudame a oir tu voz. Sabiduria ante todo. Gracias Senor, por darme sabiduria. Gracias por direccion y proteccion para mi vida. Te alabo y bendigo tu nombre. En el nombre de Cristo Jesus. AMEN!
