"And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him."(Matt 20:30-34)
I found a lot of meat in these verses and my prayer is that you have too. Please, when reading the word, don't read it like a newspaper-Study it and ask for revelation knowledge. Ask God how it relates to you because I can assure you-God is speaking to you today!
Notice that we see that these two witnesses were persistent and got the attention of Jesus. Here we see the wonderful wisdom of our Messiah. He asks them, in essence--What do you want? They responded;"That our eyes may be opened!" God wants specifics!! He wants to get to the root of the problem.
The word says Wisdom is the principal thing!(Prov 4:7) When praying, ask God to help you get to the root of the problem. Case in point, I was afflicted with Asthma for more than 20 years. It wasn't until God, in his mercy, showed me that I had hurts in my emotions that needed healing. That was when the turning point to my healing started. The problem was not asthma, the problem was healing of the emotions.
Are you frustrated with unanswered prayers? Have you hit a wall praying? Ask God for wisdom. Wisdom will show you the root of your problem and you will get the victory desired in your life. God bless! AMEN!
